Located on the north shore of the Thames River just 8 km west of Chatham (2 km east of Prairie Siding Bridge), Stargazers is Chatham-Kent’s most award winning restaurant. Owners Michael and Stephanie Hunter have assembled a stellar team that not only delivers premium service but also world class cuisine. Stargazers cuisine is a unique blend of Continental and local southwestern Ontario influences. Stargazers uses only the freshest ingredients (from local farmers in season) and simple cooking techniques to allow for the natural flavours of the food to shine. Each sauce is freshly made in house, seasoned to perfection and every dish garnished with fine herbs.

A professionally trained service staff guides you thru your dining experience. A specially selected, award winning wine list features an extensive selection of local wines including those from Pelee Island Winery, Colio, and boutique wineries such as Smith & Wilson Winery and Sanson Estates. Michael Hunter, the leading expert in Lake Erie Shore Wines, visits the local wineries a number times a year and specially selects the best each winery has to offer. Hunter also suggest wine pairings with each dish on the menu and selects local wines to feature each evening to complement your dining experience.

From the soft lighting to the light jazz playing in the background, it is the finishing touches that makes the Stargazers a unique dining experience.

Stargazers is open every night for dinner every night of the week beginning at 5:00 and weekends for lunch beginning at noon. Dinner entrees range from $19.95 to $30.95 on the menu. Stargazers accommodates up to 100 guests and a private room is available for up to 35 guests and an open air patio seats up to 45.
